Sorry to hear about the injury. Yes, I'm still with the NPIA but as you say, not sure how long for. So Michael is you brother eh? I understand Steve M. is still around as he went to one of the re-union do's in London a couple of years ago. I have been working in Weymouth recently so called in to see...

Blimey, it's Mr. Hallows.

Hello Mr H.
Any idea what happened to Vic Sowerbutts? I know he went RIS-ing in Reading but have not heard anything about him since.

the dialogue continues.

Graham's posting ended with ...... Am going to my local pub in an hour to see Graham Keens. I expect he'll be moored up at the canal by now. And just to disappoint, I turned up by car enroute between Rugby and St. Asaph. Sorry Graham, I obviously didn't make myself clear when arranging the visit. I'...

Greetings Roy

I'd heard that you had emigrated but I didn't know where to. I last heard that Ian Doig was living in France and working for ETSI having moved there from The Radiocommunications Agency. I am working as an engineer for the NPIA (National Policing Improvement Agency) supporting the Police use of Airwa...

Thanks Dave. Oh well, better that than have the body separate from the chassis as you are driving along (Know someone that happened to, the joys of rusty outriggers) Pension problem solved by a contact at the Cabinet Office, B'stoke supplied by Graham D. (gord bless him) Graham says he is unable to ...

D Tels pension info.

Having rejoined the Civil Service, I'm trying to get my D-Tels service added to my new pension scheme. :D Capita Hartshead (the Neuvos scheme administrator) are unable to locate who manages the old D-Tels scheme. :? Does anyone out there know who has that responsibility please? Thanks Graham

Just an update from me.

Having been made redundant from Vodafone last October, I am now employed by the NPIA (National Policing Improvements Agency) where I assist the end users with any Airwave problems they may require help with. I have discovered a whole raft of ex-D-Tels employees at NPIA, most of whom ended up there v...

Thanks Kevin ..

.. for that update. Bill had been around for a long time then, good bloke. He was at Winchester when I first met him. As for Arqiva being a funny name - only because there is no U after the Q! I'll have to see if I can locate Dave W. at Crawley Court in the near future. If you see him, direct him to...

Llangollen narrows

Graham said about his Llangollen canal trip " It was a bit hairy where the canal narrows for long stretches and boats can't pass. Not as relaxing as people say, I thought. " I've learnt how to deal with that one, I sent the Mrs up ahead on foot with a 2 way radio ;^) Have a look at <http:/...

Nice to hear from you Graham!

Yes, I've been through Nantwich. Last memorable time was when England were playing on Whitsun Bank Holiday Monday in 2002. It was deserted. Going to do the Basingstoke canal this year if there is enough water. I'm still hunting around for any more ex-RH-ers. I'm on 07831100432. Text me your number a...

Who else is on site?

I met Mr Thanki (Bipin) at Gatwick this week. He pointed me here and said that Dave Waspe was at NTL (Crawley Court).

Any others from CCE 1984-1986 here?

Regards

Graham

I'm still in Newbury

... although I am still living in the same house that I moved into when I transferred to Aylesbury outstation in '82. Not bad .... 23 years in the same house. Pretty rare nowadays. Hope you are well. Where are you gainfully employed now? I'm still at Paknet/Vodafone. As far as ex RH-ers go, I unders...

Who's on the site

Hello Dave and any other ex RH-ers Graham here .... I was pointed to the site when I met Bipin at Gatport Airwick today. Small world eh? Haven't seen the Herald around Newbury recently. :( I was at Hannington (78-82) Aylesbury (82-84) and Harrow (84-86) Anybody heard anything from Norman Smith or To...
