It is with great regret that I have to inform you of the death of Bill Roberts. He was a technician at Marley Hill until his retirement. A good friend to many and a loss to us all. Details of Bill's death was published in the local paper and is given below:
ROBERTS (Burnopfield). Suddenly on March 22nd, aged 82 years, Bill, loving husband of the late Joan. Will be sadly missed by all his loving family and friends. Friends please meet for the service at St. James' Church, Burnopfield on Tuesday 31st March at 11.00am, prior to interment at Stanley Cemetery at 11.45am.
