It is with regret to announce I have been informed by Mike Brain earlier today that Pat Tomlinson died in September. He leaves a wife (Caitriona) and two children Christopher and Naomi. No other details are known.

I was very sorry to learn of his untimely death. Pat was one of a few graduate engineers that joined the Directorate around the early 1970s and rose to become Chief Wireless Engineer before moving to new pastures outside the organisation. RIP Pat....
