By chance I came across a Facebook posting today that gave some details of John's passing, details as follows:
"John Perry who was brought up in the village (Kings Somborne near Andover Hampshire) and is known to some of the older residents (Marj Tubby is one) died on 7th January following being diagnosed with cancer in August 2023. He was 90 in August 2024. He and his brothers-Peter and Christopher were brought up in the village and I believe his mum was a well-known resident. They all went to the village school. John and his wife Barbara had a flower shop in the village and I think their daughter, Elizabeth, also went to the village school. He and Barbara have lived in Broughton for a good number of years."

I have to report the John Perry passed away age 90 in January 2025 The funeral was Wednesday 5th February
