It is with regret to announce I have been informed by John Dearman that Alan Ward passed away on 4th May 2018, no other details are known.

Webmaster Note:
During my time as SWT Sheffield Detachment from 1979-83 I occasionally met Alan whilst visiting Kippax Depot. A bright knowledgeable engineer he was responsible for running the installation team. I'm sorry to learn of his early death. RIP Alan
