A side road in the process of being built. The Home Office Vehicle Installation Design Group (VIDG) Workshop was constructed to the right of the road after this picture was taken.
The buildings to the far right were all part of Central Stores and used for storage of bulk items. At the far end of these buildings was the Ultra Sonic Cleaning Workshop.
