DTELS Summer Reunion 2009, Central London

Introduction
On a lovely warm and sunny day, the 2009 summer reunion was held in the College Garden at Westminster Abbey, near to Parliament Square. The nearby historical buildings, including the dominant Houses of Parliament Victoria Tower, looked all the more splendid by the deep blue skyline that remained a feature of the day.
As with previous reunions, it was a pleasure to meet up and chat with regular attendee’s to these functions, as well as reacquainting with those faces not seen for a long time, such as Billy Coombes.
The event was made all the more enjoyable by the extended lunchtime picnic and a two hour concert by “The New London Concert Band”

Winter Reunion 2009
