A six channel GEC 650 (AM) transceiver pack mounted in its cradle above the STC 101 AM/FM transceiver. The latter would have been used as an inter-force set to enable communication with any police or fire brigade scheme within range of where the vehicle was stationed. The speakers mounted above each operator position were typical of those to be found in emergency service mobile installations.
