Radio Links

The radio linking equipment shown in another picture in this gallery is more clearly visible in this picture. The equipment on the rear wall is of BICC manufacture. I am guessing that they were broadband AM links operating in the 146/155 MHz band. However, they may have been Low-Band AM units used to provide broadcast or fixed mobile transmission.

The foreground centre and right equipment racks are valve type U450 FM links which may have been the UHF versions judging by the UHF link antennas seen elsewhere in this gallery.
