Cabinet door open to reveal the PA deck (top section) using a pair of 4CX250B valves deliver 250 watts min to the antenna feeder in the 100 MHz band, engineers mic attached to the control panel, audio PA deck below using a pair of directly heated QY3-125 valves, the crystal oven below and the VERY HEAVY PSU at the bottom delivering circa 1,250v dc to the PA deck. These equipment's were the mainstay of most police force countywide schemes before the mid-1980's WARC changeout.
