This photograph was taken in the canteen at Kippax Depot sometime at the end of 1982 or early 1983 and marks the occasion of Gus Baker RWE retiring from the Directorate after ?? years service. To his immediate right is Cyril Bell (CWE Northern Area) and to his left is thought to be Mrs. Baker.
Regrettably, apart from Sue (see next photo) the names of the others in this photograph are not known. Please contact the Webmaster if you can identify the other persons.
From George Ramsay 12-6-2006 Arthur Fry (stores officer), seen standing to the right of the picture, started at Harrow, moved to Kippax, retired, came out of retirement to help me run the Northern Area Maintenance Unit (NAMU).
