Introduction
This section contains a collection of scanned 35mm negatives from John Leary that were marked “Beginning of Weyhill 1970” but feedback following initial publication on this site suggests they relate to Leicester University.
It is now thought that these pictures were taken sometime prior to the Directorate mounting an exhibition at the university in 1971 for emergency services, possibly related to the idea of installing a number of CCTV cameras and radio antennas.
