MISCELLANY
From Mike Phillips, an account by Sir Arthur L. Dixon, C.B., C.B.E. circulated in 1963 relating to the emergency work of the police forces in the second world war. This highly detailed 247 page report covers many aspects of policing at the time, which include aspects of wireless communication that ultimately shaped the role and responsibilities of the Directorate post war.
