Workshop 3

November 1991; Workshop 3 at Shapwick.

"Workshop Three was known as the 'MF Room' to older inhabitants of the depot, as it
originally housed the MF transmitter, to later generation known as the 'Pocketfone Room' as this is where first line was done for a period on Pye PF1's
etc. Later it was used for WARC hilltop equipment preparation.

Workshop Two (not in this gallery) was known as the "Project Roon" and was constructed in period when Regional Installation Teams were established and filled the space between the MF room and the canteen of the original building."
