Thanks to Martin Swift for writing in to say that Billinge Depot finally closed as an Arqiva service centre on Tuesday 8 November 2005.
This news is not unexpected, but is never the less a reminder that the depot and the people who worked there, was once part of an illustrious organisation that sadly no longer exists.
