This is not actually a DTELS topic but I think it's important enough to bring it to the attention of as many people as possible. It seems to have been kept quiet so far!
From early next week all UK mobiles will be on a directory which means that anyone will be able to access your number for the payment of a small fee. This means that you and all your friends and family who have UK mobiles could be swamped by unsolicited messages and calls. See BBC link below for more details of the service.

If you do not wish to be on this list you must unsubscribe. It is easy to unsubscribe but it must be done before the beginning of next week to make sure that you are ex directory.
To remove your number go to the link below:
http://www.118800.co.uk/removeme/remove-me.html
Select the ?home page? then select ?ex directory?.
You need your mobile phone with you as they will immediately text you a code which you must enter to confirm you are the owner of that number.

Graham Dean.
