my interest in radio goes back till way before the WARC change over , in fact i remember looking forward to visiting my uncle who had a radio that would cover on and abouts 100mhz but fm (f3e/g3e) but i made use of it to listen to both durham and northumbria police.

then we moved out of the area to the isle of wight and i became interested in coastal radio. we were only there for about 3 years and we then moved back to the north east.
i spent 1 more year at school the got a job in the moter trade and have been there ever since .

i have worked on both "DURAM POLICE & NORTHUMBRIAN POLICE" vehicles

and when i was first licensed i used to work "G3KRG" at marley hill in my dinner time so to speak.
