The funeral is to be held at Wakefield Crematorium on Thursday 16th July 2026 at 2:40pm
People attending the funeral are requested to wear different colours (not black) please as we want to celebrate David’s life. Family flowers ONLY please. There will be a collection for the British Heart Foundation. A charity David always wanted to contribute to and has helped him & other family members.
The celebration of David’s life will continue at Ossett Cricket Club. All are welcome to join us & celebrate his life, which he would appreciate. We would like you to share all your stories about how you knew David and the mischief & adventures you got up to over the years. For those of you who knew David and wish to attend please contact his wife Karen Storrs.

It is with sad regret to announce that Michael Walker emailed me today to say that David Storrs had passed away on Wednesday 10th June 2026 surrounded by family and friends. He leaves a wife, Karen. He worked for some years at Kippax NMC as a manager. Other details will be posted here as they are known.
