The Radio Society of Great Britain (RSGB) Trophy Manager for the UK Microwave Group (Dave Powis) recently contacted this site requesting that anyone with memories or interesting anecdotes about Les to please send them via the Webmaster, or include them as a posting in this topic if a DTELS forum member.
A picture of the trophy annually awarded by the UK Microwave Group and donated in Les' memory by his family is shown below, together with a photograph taken of him in 1968 during his period of service as a Senior Wireless Technician (SWT) at Bishops Cleeve Maintenance Unit.
