Introduction
This section contains a collection of scanned photographs relating to Duke Street and Aston Outstations, Birmingham (Romsley Region).

Prior to the 1974 Local Government Reorganisation, the staff at Duke Street workshop were part of the Birmingham City Police force telecommunications support team.

Following LGR and the creation of the West Midlands Police force, the staff and Duke Street workshop were transferred to the Home Office and became an outstation of Romsley Depot.

During the 1980’s the staff were moved from Duke Street to a new outstation at WMP Park Lane Traffic Complex at Aston.
