P1/12 Eglwysilan

"Rx tower lying on the ground with the undamaged Tx tower in the centre. There are vehicles and personnel on-site and it appears that two pole-mounted Yagis have been fixed to the fence (can be seen on lhs of Tx tower) as emergency links.

The Directorate of Telecommunications, and later DTELS, were experts at speedily re-establishing radio communications during any type of emergency.

The structure at the rear left is unknown."
