Extract from Cranks Corner: DECEMBER 1977 INTERCOM NO.10 ... cont (P2/5)
"It was whilst I was studying what I took to he the ski lift supports that it suddenly struck me — EGLWYSIEN! I cried out the name aloud. How could I be so imperceptive? The towers I beheld were wireless masts. This was no holiday camp, but a Home Office hilltop site in Glamorgan, manned by some of our own stalwarts. This was some wilderness".
