Introduction
This section contains a collection of scanned photographs relating to conferences which took place during the 1960’s and possibly early 1970s.
The events covered by this gallery include the 1961 CSU Meeting held in Birmingham. a conference during the early 1960s and Jack Nelson’s Retirement/Conference held in 1965 or 1970?

Bruce Thomson joined the RAF in 1941 and some of his war service included serving in North Africa and Europe. He joined the Directorate in 1949 working at Cheveley, later Billinge and then as a CWT at HQ in Kew, Rochester Row, Horseferry and lattery as the SWE in charge of Training Section at Stanmore before retiring around 1982
