This photograph is believed to have been taken at Bishops Cleeve MU on or around 1968 and shows an operator reworking a Pye PF1 18v Transmitter NICAD battery. The box contains a cutter which enables to operator to carefully break the battery casing and replace the NICAD cells before re-bonding the case, testing and returning the battery to service.
