Introduction
This part of the library contains a collection of scanned black and white photographs of various types of equipment dating back to pre-1970.

The photographs were found in a box file during a clear out of my loft in early 2005. I believe these were retrieved from Ruddington HQ at the time of closure in 1994 and may have originated from either DTELS Library or DTELS Consultancy.

Where information is available on either the prints or envelopes where applicable, this has been included in the caption text. The question of copyright is not clear to me, but those photographs with Oswald Kellett’s name and address stamped on the rear of the prints are assumed to have been taken by him, the rest are assumed to be crown unless someone can identify otherwise.

I would be very keen to hear from anyone who can shed more light on these photographs in respect missing detail relating to equipment, vehicles, location, persons names (ideally grade at the time) and estimated year. If you have any information, even educated guesses, please log-in to DTELS Forum and add a posting to ‘Boxfile Photograph Collection’ or email the Webmaster.

In addition, thanks to Mike Phillips for providing the photo of the BICC Transportable.
